RESIDENT EVIL 3 - Nemesis

A word of warning: This page does NOT contain walk-throughs, game maps or any kind of cheat, code or general lameness that would spoil the game's raw genius.

The latest Resident Evil... and its a masterpiece! Alas, I have only hired it out, so please send your donations to the "Get 'Nemesis' for Liche" campaign here. From my 3 days of playing the game, I have to say that it is great. The Nemesis himself is a relentless monster who frequently decides to bother you. Although very similar to RE2 (you get to run around in the police station again J:| it is a totally new game, but is completely Resident Evil. Jill is now more agile and more realistic than any RE character before her and there are more kinds of zombie too! Some of the monster types were a little under used, but that was a refreshing change. This means that, unlike RE2, you wont find yourself mindlessly gunning down hordes of identical monsters (FAR too many 'lickers' in that game). Also they've made more of the puzzle element, which is great. RE2 was like a George Romero zombie splatter film, tonnes of blood, no brains; which is a good thing, but not ideal in the long run play-wise.

Characters
Jill Valentine

Jill Valentine

She's back. My original favourite character and the best bit is; She's ditch the idiot (that's Chris btw). She now wears a short leather skirt and strapless top, not the ideal zombie killing atire! Being the only main character this time, she's got all the groovy stuff; An assault rifle, a magnum 357 and a fantastic line of costume changes. Having said that, I do NOT like the Regina (Dino Crisis) 'out fit' as its a totally different model from Jill, even her hair changes colour!

Carlos Oliviera

Carlos Oliviera

"After a major scare with the Nemesis, Jill finds Carlos slightly injured. Soon after, Carlos begins to help Jill throughout the game, and you take control of him to find the Virus antigen when Jill gets infected by the tentacles of Nemesis. Carlos is a member of the UBCF. His somewhat smug and self-centered attitude doesn't impress Jill." Carlos is the other playable character in the main game, he's not da man though. He has a cool job (mercenary) and gets annoyed when Jill blames him about the whole zombie incident (can you blame him?) I think he fancies Jill... damn horny computer game characters *lol*

Mikhail Victor

Mikhail Victor

Now this Russian is VERY close to being 'da man'. He is a member of the UBCF, but he's cool. When Jill meets him he is lying seriously injured, but later we see him chopping zombies down with his assault rifle and blowing up a horde of the undead with a hand-grenade! He also sacrifices himself to save Jill and Carlos and serious wounds the Nemesis

Nicholai Zinoviev

Nicholai Zinoviev

"The second Russian member of the UBCF. Nicholai is a very calculating and heartless killer. He doesn't hesitate to kill even members of his own team. If it stand in the way of his goals. Which seem very suspicious, but not enough to accuse him of wrongdoing... for now." He's like Wesker, only Russian and he can act. He is a true mercenary and does things for financial gain as well as trying to kill the young Miss Valentine. Jerk.

Nemesis

The Nemesis

"This is Raccoon City's walking nightmare. Nemesis is determined to stop all S.T.A.R.S. members from preventing Umbrella from accomplishing its tasks. Even being a product of Umbrella, he views the UBCF as an enemy. Nemesis is seemingly unstoppable, and doesn't let up his ruthless and lightning quick attacks even when he is mortally wounded, or even exposed to point-blank grenade blasts." The second generation Tyrant. He looks less sophisticated than Tyrant 00 (Resident Evil 2) but he is armed with a Rocket Launcher of his own! He doesn't always use it though, and its quite naff honestly. It hurts Jill badly though. I'm not sure I like his choice of S & M, strap covered leather coat though. He is 'da man' in RE3 and it takes considerable fire-power to stop the gimp.
